Southern Gospel Music
History
Full Life Trio, a Southern Gospel ministry from Savannah, MO, shared the gospel of Jesus through song from June 1994 until June 2018
History of Full Life Trio
In the summer of 1994, Debbie Davis, along with her sister and two friends had the opportunity to sing at a couple of churches in their hometown. They needed a name, so having sang for the last year at Full Life Fellowship (their home church), they decided to call themselves Full Life. The following year the name of the group was changed to Full Life Trio. Over the next few years, Debbie saw several faces come and go, but her goal stayed the same, to minister the love of Jesus through song.
From 1997 until 2016, Full Life Trio travelled with a band, and during tha time, they were known as Full Life Trio & Praise Band. Several band members came and went over the years. The final band members when the band disbanded in 2016: JC Wiley (Guitar), Ted Abel (Bass guitar), Michael Sipes (Drums)
For 19 of their 24 years in ministry, the trio never changed. Founder Debbie Davis, was joined by her 2 sisters-in-law, Becki Parker and Lea Parker. They sang many songs over the years that Debbie and Becki wrote. When Lea left the road in January of 2018, it just wasn't the same. In June 2018, Debbie & Becki decided not to continue with the trio.
The ministry of Full Life Trio is still chartered through the Association of International Gospel Assemblies, Inc. (AIGA) and are a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization. Larry & Debbie Davis will begin taking on evangelistic dates with Debbie singing and Larry preaching.
Debbie joined Crossroads music at the end of 2017 as a staff songwriter and continues with them today. You can contact Debbie on her FB Page, Debbie L Davis, Songwriter, or visit her web site at OneBlessedChicky.com
